This is the area where the Gunnersons are buried. The tall marker and the one to the left are Meyers. Behind and to the right are the Henry Gunnersons, and the large marker in back, with the red flowers, is one marker for the Carl Gunnersons.

Charles Langel, Jennie Langel, (back row, fourth and third from right)
The obvious guess is that the older couple is Adam and Susan Langle. Some of the boys in front are probably Everett's brothers, and I would guess that the little girl at right on the middle row is Louanna. Does that make the baby with Jennie Everett?

Front row: The man in the center is George Green, so the woman to the left must be Sarah. The young couple to the right are Jennie and Charles Langel.
The ages are about right for the back row to be Jesse, Ella, Will, Arminta (or Amanda), either William Hannah or Charles Lenington, and Amanda (or Arminta). The front row might then be Pearl, Sarah, George, Jennie, Gus, and Charles Langel. If the baby is Gus, the picture was probably taken in 1889.

Everett and Liz
Everett remembered playing for the Shrine team in 1938 or 39 -- he said that when they played the "Catholics," which I guess was probably another fraternal order in Salina, they got licked 20 to 2. The other team had a catcher who was a substitute for a professional team, while the Shrine pitchers were all about 60 years old. (1/20/2002)

Strickler Family in California
The original of this picture is very small and blurry, so this is as good as it gets. I think the woman and man on the stools are Sadie and Samuel Strickler. I'm told Madeline and Myrtle were small women, so they may be the two standing behind Sadie and Samuel.
On the back, the picture has a stamp from a Los Angeles photo developer service with the date July 31, 1933.

I think the kneeling man is Benjamin, and the woman in the middle is Sadie. That probaby makes the other two man Fred Strickler. Based on ages, I think the kids are Mary Louise, the baby, William the youngest boy, Jack, the middle boy, and Fred, the oldest boy (in the shadow).

On back: Art took this of Jeannette. We (Art & I) took her with us when we went for rides. This in park -- about 1910
I'm assuming Art and I are Art and Florence Adams, Jeannette's aunt and uncle. This was probably taken in California.

I think this means that Jeannette is the one with the x, front row, just right of center, with her hand over her face!
