     Andrew immigrated in 1880 to the United States of America. His Flyttningsbevis, or Swedish exit permit, is signed by the pastor of the parish of Näsum in the lan (county) of Kristianstads. According the permit, tenant famer Andrew was married and had had smallpox..^3,7
     Family tradition has it that he changed his name from Johnson to Youngberg after a relative was cheated out of land in the Oklahoma Land Rush (1889) because the name Johnson was so common. In his naturalization first papers (1888), the name is Johnberg.
     He moved in 1881 to Saline Co, KS.⁴

They rented the farm.      On Sep 19, 1906 Andrew paid W.A. Johnson #31.86 for threshing, $15.93 for hauling and $3 for horse feed and board for haulers.⁴⁵
     On Nov 7, 1906 the Youngbergs had one-half interest in 60 acres of wheat growing on the south west quarter of section 14 township 15, Eureka, range 1 west.⁴⁶
     On Nov 7, 1906 Andrew signed a note with the Salina Implement and Seed Co for $96. For collateral, he used two black mares, 4 years old, named Fleet and Fly, one Fuller & Johnson 3/4 wagon, and one half interest in sixty acres of wheat.⁴⁶
     Andrew signed a lease for 4 months from April 1, 1908 through July 31, 1908 with E.P. Olssen, agt for the southwest quarter (I think) of section 14, township 15, range 1 of Saline, Co, KS. In consideration, he would pay the owner 1/3 of the hay in shock, 1/3 of the wheat, and 1/3 of the fruit. Andrew was to have all the alfalfa up to the expiration of the lease. The wheat was to be delivered from the thresher in Gypsum.⁴⁷
     Andrew paid taxes in Saline Co, KS, on Jan 9, 1909. The total county, township and school tax on $380 of personal property was $3. The receipt has a stamp that says "Barnes High School Tax paid under protest.".⁴⁸
     On Mar 29, 1909 Andrew borrowed $50. As collateral, he listed 1 mare, 4 years old, iron gray, named Jessie and 1 horse, 3 years old, black, named Prince.
