     Daniel was born in Berks Co, PA, on Oct 16, 1821.1,5,6,3,7
     They moved in 1836 to Violet Township, Fairfield Co, OH.1,2,3
     He married Susannah Bright in Fairfield Co, OH, on May 19, 1842.1,2,3
     He became the owner of farm of 245 acres in after 1842.2
     He bought property from John Bright and Hannah Bright in Liberty Township, Fairfield Co, OH, on Apr 10, 1850. He paid $10,216 for land "described as follows being apart of Section number thirty (30) township number Sixteen 16 Range number nineteen (19) commencing 61 chains & 64 links East of the Northwest Corner of said Section, Running thence East 31 chains & 28 links, thence South 80 chains & 10 links thence west 30 chains & 95 links, thence North 80 chains & 10 links to the place of Beginning Containing Two hundred & forty nine acers[sic] & 20/100 more or less, Reference being had to a deed from Jacob & Peter Bright & Conrad Rebar Exectors[sic] of John Bright decd of Berks County P.A.".8
     Daniel was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Liberty Township, Fairfield Co, OH. Daniel was a farmer, whose real estate was valued at $4,482..9
     Daniel was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Liberty Township, Fairfield Co, OH. Daniel was a farmer with $26,000 in real estate and $2,500 in personal property. John, Enoch, and David were farm laborers. Oliver, Mary, Isabel and Sarah were in school. Susanna couldn't write..6
     In September 1876, David Langel resigned as executor of Philip's estate, and Daniel and Henry applied for letters of administration, which were granted.10,11
     They was the administrator of Phillip Langel's estate in Fairfield Co, OH, in Feb, 1877. In Feb, 1877, the administrators filed an accounting of estate income and expenses.12 He received $363.83 from Philip Langel's estate.4
     Daniel was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Liberty Township, Fairfield Co, OH. Daniel was a retired farmer, Oliver was farming, Mary was a dress maker, and a James Adaurs(?) was living with the family as a gardener..13
     He resided in Liberty Township, Fairfield Co, OH, in 1883, in between Basil and Baltimore.2
     Daniel was a I.O.O.F. member in Liberty Township, Fairfield Co, OH, in 1883.2
     Daniel died on Feb 27, 1894 in Baltimore, Fairfield Co, OH, at age 72.1,3,7 He was buried circa Mar, 1894 at Old Basil Cemetery, in Baltimore, Fairfield Co, in OH.7
