     Taylor and Elizabeth, along with her parents, James and Elizabeth Smith, were founding members of Smith Chapel. The church was originially organized in a brush arbor near the Smith school. A church building was built in 1871.3
     Elizabeth Smith died on Mar 7, 1877 in Lincoln Co, MO, at age 74.1
