CARL J. YOUNGBERG

Carl J. Youngberg, 78, 867 Seminole, died Wednesday at St. John's hospital.

Born Aug. 25, 1892, at Assaria, he was a lifetime resident of Salina. He was employed as a plumber 15 years with the City Plumbing Co, Inc., and last worked as custodian for the Salvation Army.

He served in the Army during World War I. He was a member of the Salvation Army.

Survivors include the widow, Bonnie B., of the home; a son, Robert J., with the Air Force at Goose Bay, Labrador; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Darling, 1012 N. 10th; five grandchildren; a brother, Reuben, Hutchinson, and two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Dragosh, Clinton, Iowa, and Mrs. Alice Smith, 211 N. Front.

The funeral will be 10 am Saturday at Guy R. Ryan Sons mortuary, Capt. John Churchill, the Rev. Alfred A. Miller, and Capt. Charles Moffitt officiating.

Burial will be in the World War I plot of Gypsum Hill cemetery.
