Citation to Elect

Fairfield County, Ohio, Probate Court

In the matter of the Estate of David Langel deceased.

to Eliza Langel Widow:

Provision having been made for you as Widow, in the Will of your husband David Langel late of Fairfield County, Ohio, deceased, and which Will has been filed and admitted to Probate and Record in said Court, you are hereby notified to appear before said Probate Court and elect as to whether you will take such provision, or be endower of the lands of your said husband.

Such election is required by law to be made within one year from the date of the service of this Citation.

Election of Widow

And now comes Eliza Langel widow of David Langel, deceased, and in open Court made her election to take under the last will and testament of said deceased as follows, to-wit:

The State of Ohio, Fairfield County, ss.

Probate Court

I, Eliza Langel widow of David Langel late of Fairfield County, deceased, fully understanding the provisions of the last will and testament of said deceased and of my rights under it, and also of my rights by law in the event of my refusal to elect to take under said will, do hereby elect to take and accept of the provisions made for me in said last will and testament, in lieu of my dower interest and distributive share of the estate of said deceased.

In the Matter of the Will of David Langel, Deceased.

October 9th 1888

This day cam Eliza Langel, widow of David Langel, deceased, into open court, and after having the provisions of the last will and testament of said deceased and her rights under it fully explained and made known to her, and also of her rights by law in the event she refused to take under said will, after due deliberation, she elected to accept of the provisions made for her in said last will and testament in lieu of her dower interest and distibutive share of the estate of said deceased.
