This Deed made the 21st day of December in the year 1885 between George W. Green and Louisa F his wife, John W Green and Adelaid his wife Sarah F Green and Arthur C Green and Fannie R his wife all of the County of Rappahannock and State of Virginia of this one parts and Samuel F Baker of this County and State of this other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of Three hundred fifty Dollars to be paid as follows - One hundred and ten dollars in hand the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the balance in three equal annual installments of Eighty dollars each with interest thereon from theis date, the first to be paid on the 21st day of Dec 1886, the second on the 21st day of dec 1887 and the third and last on the 21st day of Dec 1888, they said Geo W Green and Louisa F his wife John W Green and Adelaid his wife Sarah F Green and Arthur C Green and Fannie R his wife do grant with general warranty unto the said Samuel F Baker upon conditions underwritten a certain house and lot at Amissville [illegible] as follows. Beginning at a large Red Oak formerly corner to Basyes up Easterly to the turnpike. Thence up said road to the Church lot. Thence up said lot to the woods in Hughes's line. Thence with said line to the beginning containing ten acres more or less. The condition referred to ? that those conveying said property reserve a lien upon the same until the whole of the purchase money is paid after which this lien to be void. Lamma Justices of the County of Rappahannock in the State of Virginia do certify that Louisa F Green wife of George W Green and Adelaid wife of John W Green and Sarah F Green whose names are signed to the writing above bearing date on the 21st day of December 1885 formally appeared before us in the county aforesaid and being examined by us privily and apart from their husbands and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to them the said Louisa F Green Adelaid Green and Sarah F Green acknowledged the said writing to be their act and did aver? they have willingly [illegible] the same and does not wish to retract it

Green wife of A C Green whose name is signed to the above writing bearing date 21st Dec 1885 personally appeared before us in this County aforesaid and being examined by us privily and apart from her husband and baving the writing aforesaid fully explained to her acknowledges this said before us and declared that she has willing executed the same and does not wish to retract it
