Audrey Ann Herriott
A funeral service celebrating the life of Audrey Ann Herriott, 89 of Kirkersville, was held February 14th, 2007, in the chapel of the Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with Pastor Richard Rothemich officiating. Burial followed in Kirkersville Cemetery.
Audrey died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newark, following an extended illness. She was born July 4, 1917, in Wagram, the daughter of the late David A. and Plina Emily Morrow Langel.
Audrey taught school for 28 years in the Southwest Licking School district. She was a very active member of the Kirkersville community, holding memberships in the Kirkersville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Sunday School teacher and Secretary of the Church; Kirkersville Mother's Club, Etna and Kirkersville PTO, and Ohio Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Herriott, whom she married on September 4, 1943; her son, Richard (Faye) Herriott of Worthington; a sister, Irene(John J.) Godfrey of Reynoldsburg; sisters and brothersin law, Helen Langel, Joan and Layton Feiber, Warren Herriott, Donnagene Herriott, Martha Lloyd and Howard Magley; nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews.
