Mrs. W. S. Moore Dies At Home in Albion
Mrs. Winfield S. Moore passed away at her home in Albion Monday. She had been ill for some time.
Amanda Jane Laten was born near Halifax, Nova Scotia, on May 3, 1861. She was married to Winfield Scott Moore, August 20, 1881. To this union was born seven children, all of whom are living except one, a daghter [sic], Sadie, who died in infancy. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and six children, Scott of Albion; Orice of Spokane, Wash.; Leonard of Council Bluffs, Ia.; Mrs. Edna Marshall of Hay Springs, Nebr.; and Frank of Lebanon, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Marsh of of Noel, Mo., and Mrs. Sadie Lyall of Athol, Kansas; and fourteen grandchildren besides a host of friends.
The funeral services was held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Christian's chapel, conducted by F. S. Spaulding. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
