Retired Farmer Dies in Etna
Etna, Feb. 9. -- William E. Langel, 76, retired farmer and resident of this locality a number of years, died Monday at 7:30 p.m. in his home of pneumonia. He had been ill for some time.
Born March 25, 1866, in Basil, he was the son of Adam and Susan Langel. His wife, Georgia Langel, died several years ago and he leaves a brother, Clinton Langel of Basil; also several nephews and three nieces, three of whom were reared by Mr. and Mrs. Langel. They are Harry Langel and Neil Kumler of Basil and Mrs. Cora Derr of Pickerington.
The body will be returned to the home late today from the Vinton D. Morrow funeral home and funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the home. Rev. Myron Clark of Springfield will conduct the service and burial will be made in Pataskala cemtery.
