CLARENCE E. MERCER
Graveside services for Clarence Edmund (Ed) Mercer, 64, Denver, Colo., a former Salinan, will be at 3:30 pm Saturday at Gypsum Hill cemetery, the Rev. Terry Boggs officiating.
Mr. Mercer died Wednesday at Denver. He was born Nov. 11, 1909, in Salina. He was a Salina resident until he joined the military service in World War 2. He formerly operated Mercer Printing company here and attended Kansas Wesleyan. He was stationed at Fort Riley during World War 2, then moved to Denver where he was an estimator for Kistler's Printing company.
Survivors are 4 cousins, Mrs. Jeannette Langel, 58 Fairdale; Mrs. Helen Rexford, Denver, Colo.; Evelyn Dihle, Hollywood, Calif., and Robert Dihle, San Gabriel, Calif.
Friends may call at the Ryan mortuary Friday evening and Saturday.
