Officials to Confer with Engineer on Highway Plan
Just what part Pico avenue is to play in the regional highway plan was not clear yesterday as city officials made plans to confer with Arthur H. Adams, acting county regional planning engineer.
Plans are being forwarded to make a six-lane divided highway of Pico avenue in the city limits, but how it will be correlated with the Terminal Island freeway is not known.
As the island freeway and the Los Angeles river freeway are scheduled to join at the Pacific Electric tracks north of Carson street and by means of a half-cloverleaf at Artesia street, [sic]
