Selma Tillavill Gunnerson
Selma Tillavill Gunnerson, born Meyer, died October 30th at Yates Center, Kansas at the age of sixty-nine years, five months and 15 days. She was born in Krisdala Kalmar Lan, Sweden, May 15 1857. She came with her parents in 1868 to Andover, Ill., where she was confirmed by Pastor Jonas Swenson in 1872. In 1873 she moved with her parents to Lindsborg where she was married to Henry Gunnerson in 1876 who preceded her in death in 1895. To this union were blessed six children, three surviving, Daisy, Ruben and Lillie Gunnerson, two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Gunnerson, Mrs. Claus Hawkinson, Mrs. John Holmquist.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the home of her son Ruben Gunnerson, 133 N. Pine St. at 2:15 and from Bethany church at 2:30 P. M. Interment at Elmwood cemetery.
