JOHN BARTLETT DE WITT
John Bartlett De Witt, 68,, suffered a fatal heart attack August 4 at his home in Wamego. He was born April 24, 1891, at Dubois, Nebraska.
He is survived by a son, Ivan DeWitt, Ogden; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Armstrong and Mrs. Nona Jolley, both of Salina, and Mrs. Fern Surprise, of New Jersey, and a brother, Ralph E. DeWitt, Manhattan.
Funeral srevices[sic] were Friday, at the Stewart Memorial Chapel at Wamego with burial in Chapman Cemetery. The Harold Johnson post of the American Legion had charge of the graveside services.
