Mrs. R. H. Dihle Passed Away After an Illness of Many Months
Mrs. R. H. Dihle died yesterday afternoon at 6:20 o'clock, after an illness of more than six months. The funeral services will take place Sunday afternoon from the English Lutheran church, the exact time to be decided upon later.
Mrs. Dihle was born in Mecklenburg, Germany in 1842. She came to America when she was twelve years old, and was married to Robert H. Dihle January 27, 1864. Eight children were born to them, all but two of whom, Hulda and Albert, survive her. Fie daughters and a son, Amanda, Ida, Amelia, Josephine, Elsie and George are living, all of whom were present with the exception fo Mrs. Josephine Hood, of Chandler, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hood is expected to arrive today.
Mrs. Dihle was a charter member of the English Lutheran church of Salina and an esteemed member of the Woman's Relief Corps and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her death will be keenly felt by her many friends.
