Benjamin Langel

WICHITA -- Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita for Benjamin Charles "Ben" Langel, 61, Wichita, who died Friday, June 7, 2002, at a Wichita hospital, where he was admitted earlier the same day. He had a heart attack.
He was born July 17, 1940, in Salina, to Everett A. and Jeannette Elizabeth Strickler Langel. He spent his early life in Salina and graduated from Salina High School in 1958. He received a degree in business administration and a law degree, both at The University of Kansas in Lawrence. He spent more than 30 years in Wichita, where he was an attorney with the firm of Foulston Siefkin.
He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church and the Rotary Club, both in Wichita.
He married Sondra M. Hays in June 1962 in Salina. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Everett C. Langel, Menlo Park, Calif.; a daughter, Julia J. Langel, Wichita; his father, Everett A. Langel, Topeka; and a sister, Elizabeth Munns, Topeka.
Burial will be in Kensington Gardens in Wichita.
