Injuries To Woman Week Ago Cause Death
The funera [sic] of Mrs. Sarah Green, 75, who died Tuesday at her home in Pataskala, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident Christmas day, was held Thursday.
Mrs. Green, widow of the late George Green, accompanied by her two daughters, Mrs. Charles Lennington of Pataskala, and Mrs. Ralph Wilson of Reynoldsburg, left their home Christmas day to go to Reynoldsburg for dinner. The Columbus car in passing skidded and collided with the Green car, crushing the door of the machine and pinioning Mrs. Green, who suffered internal injuries. Death resulted in Tuesday. Mrs. Lennington was cut about the face and head.
Mr. and Mrs. John Platto of Mahom street were called to Pataskala to attend the funeral of Mrs. Green, who is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Charles Lennington of Pataskala, Mrs. Ralph Wilson of Reynoldsburg, Mrs. Jennie Langel, Mrs. Amanda Hanna and Mrs. Charles Watkin of Pataskala, one son, William Green, and two brothers, Joseph Taylor of Newark and another brother who lives in Oklahoma.
