     Harriett Basye was born circa 1798 in VA.4,5,6,7 Harriett Basye was also known as Harriett Bayse.2
     Harriett Basye married Moses Green, son of William Green and Mary (?).8,2,3,1,4
     They Moses and Harriett Green and George and Judith Tapp signed a deed partitioning a 350 acre tract of land that had been involved in the Riddle vs Basye lawsuit in Culpeper Co, VA, on Jul 20, 1822.9
     Harriett was probably a free white
     Harriett Green was probably a female, age 30 and under 40, in Moses Green's household, on the 1830 Census in Culpeper Co, VA.10
     They sold property to Thomas G. Kemper in Culpeper Co, VA, on Mar 18, 1833. They sold 100 acres of land for $160 in order to secure a debt to Henry Mauzy of Missouri..11
     Harriett was probably a free white female, age 40 and under 50, in Moses Green's household, on the 1840 Census in Culpeper Co, VA.12
     Harriett Green moved in 1842 to Pike Co, MO; the trip took 31 days overland.13
     Harriett Green moved in 1843 to VA.13
     Harriett was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Culpeper Co, VA. Taylor was a farmer. Amelia, Elizabeth and Joseph were in school.5
     Harriett was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census in Rappahannock Co, VA. Joseph was a farmhand. Harriet had $500 in real property.6
     Harriett Basye died in 1866.14,15,13
