This Deed made the 26th day of October in the year 1885 between George R. Green and Sarah C. Green his wife of the County of Licking and State of Ohio of the one part and John W. Green of the County of Rappahannock and State of Virginia of the other part. Witnesseth that in consideration of the kind regard the said George R and Sarah C Green intertain towards the said John W. Green for the kind attention given by him to his aged parents and for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar good and lawful money of the United States to the said George R and Sarah C Green in hand paid by the said John W Green at or before the seeing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the said George R and Sarah G Green do grant with general warranty unto the said John W Green all the right title and interest which they now have or may hereafter acquire as heirs at law of George W and Louisa F Green to and in a certain house and lot at Amissville the County of Rapopahannock and State of Virginia adjoining the land of Mrs A. A. Hughes and the Methodist Church lot to have and to hold to him the said John W Green and to his heirs forever the property [?] by conveyed or intended so to do

State of Ohio County of Licking to wit:
We B. F. Sutherland and E. Evens Justices of the Peace for the county aforesaid in the State of Ohio do certify that George R Green whose name is signed to the writing hereto arrived bearing date the 26th day October in the year 1885 has acknowledged the same before us in our County aforesaid and we further certify that Sarah C Green the wife of George R Green personally appeared before us, and being examined by us privately and apart from her husband and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her she the said Sarah C. Green acknowledged the said writing to be her act and deed and that she willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it.
