Affidavit of Death

State of Kansas, Saline County, ss.

In the probate court in and for said county,

In the Matter of the Estate of Jane Dihle

Late of Said County, Deceased.

On this 3d day of August A.D. 1903, personally appeared before me, the undersigned Judge of said Court, George W. Dihle who being by me duly sworn according to law, doth, upon his oath, depose and say that Jane Dihle (nee Gleckner) died on the 1st day of January A. D. 1903 at Salina County and State aforesaid; that to the best of his knowledge and belief, the names and places of residence of the heirs of said deceased are as follows, towit:

Robert H. Dihle (now deceased) her husband and

Amanda May Redford nee Dihle her daughter aged over 18 yrs

Ida May Dihle her daughter " over 18 yrs

Amelia Ella Mercer nee Dihle her daughter " over 18 yrs

George Washington Dihle her son " over 21 years

Josephine Agnes Hood nee Dihle her daughter " over 18 yrs

and Elsie Edna Strickler nee Dihle her daughter " over 18 yrs

and that the deceased died without a will, as affiant verily believes.

And he further states, that the said Jane Dihle nee Gleckner died seized and possessed of real and personal real estate, consisting chiefly of Lot no 90 on 8th street Salina Kansas - and the affiant further states on his oath that all the debts of the said deceased are fully paid.

Findings of the Court.

And Now, on this 3rd day of August A.D. 1903 and at the August term of said Probate Court, upon examination of the petition of George W. Dihle and in consideration of the evidence produced in this behalf, and the Court being fully advised in the premises, the Court makes the following findings, to-wit:

That the said Jane Dihle nee Gleckner died on the 1st day of January A.D. 1903 at Saline County, Kansas, that the names and places of residence of the sole heirs at law of said deceased are as follows, to wit:

Robert H. Dihle (now deceased) her husband and Amanda May Redford, nee Dihle, her daughter, aged over 18 yrs; Ida May Dihle, her daughter, aged over 18 yrs; Amerlia Ella Mercer nee Dihle, her daughter, aged over 18 yrs; George Washington Dihle, her son, aged over 21 yrs; Josephine Agnes Hood, nee Dihle, her daughter, aged over 18 yrs, and Elsie Edna Strickler, nee Dihle, her daughter, over 18 yrs of age

that said Jane Dihle died intestate; that all debts of said deceased are fully paid.

In the matter of the estate of R. H. Dihle Deceased

Order Approving Partial Account.

And Now, on this 3rd day of August A. D. 1903, and the August Term of the Probate Court of the County of Saline aforesaid comes George W. Dihle, administrator of the estate of R. H. Dihle deceased, and presents to the Court his partial account of his administration of the estate of said decedent together with vouchers taken by him for the several items of expenditure set forth in said account: and the Court having examined said account and vouchers, and heard the evidence adduced in support thereof, does find that said administrator has received from all sources the sum of $258.50 dollars and cents. The Court further finds, that said administrator has legally expended on behalf of said estate the sum of $254.55 leaving a balance in the hands of said administrator belonging to said estate, of $3.95; and that the said account is a true, just and accurate statement of the administration of said estate to date and the court further finds that all debts against said estate have been fully paid.

It is, therefore, Considered, Ordered, and Adjudged by the Court, that said account be, and the same is hereby approved, and ordered spread upon the records of the Court.
