Carl E. Gunnerson
Lindsborg -- Carl E. Gunnerson, 75, all his life a resident of Lindsborg and meat cutter for firms along main street the last 45 years, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at the Halstead hospital. He had been under treatment there 10 days.
Mr. Gunnerson was born in Lindsborg Jan. 15, 1885. His marriage to Evelyn Hjerpe, who survives him, took place Sept. 10, 1931. With his wife he leaves a foster son, William Harrison, teacher in the schools at Wilson, and his sister, Bernice Gunnerson, who lives at the family home here.
Recently Mr. Gunnerson had been employed at the Eldon market. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran church and the Masonic lodge.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Messiah Lutheran church, the Rev. Robert Hurty officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. The body may be viewed from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Danielson Funeral home, and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.
