Mrs. C. D. Watkins
     Word has been received in Newark of the death at 5 p m Friday in Columbus of Mrs Jessie Watkins, widow of Dr. C. D. Watkins practicing physician in Etna for a number of years.
     Mrs. Watkins. resided in 1083 S. Champion Ave. and went to Columbus following the death of her husband in 1942. She had been in failing health for several months.
     She was the former Jessie Green, daughter of the late George and Sarah (Tayor) Green, a native of York St. Pataskala area. As a student at Denison University in the music department she later taught piano Mrs. Watkins was one of the organizers of Bliss Business College here years ago, which was later followed by Newark Business School, in operation here since 1927.
     She is survived by step-children; one sister, Mrs. C. R. Wilson of Columbus and one brother, William Green of Pataskala, of a family which included seven daughters and one son.
     Funeral services will be held at 2 p m Monday in a Columbus funeral home and burial will be made in Pataskala cemetery.
