Obituary
Daisy Gunnerson
Daisy Estella Gunnerson was born near Lindsborg, February 4th, 1878, and died at the Johnson Hospital in Chanute, Kansas, July 19, 1933, at the age of 55 years, five months and 15 days.
She was baptised and confirmed in the Bethany Lutheran Church, of which congregation she remained a member all her life.
In 1918 she began her services at the Bethany Home. During ten of the 15 years she held the position of matron, being in charge at the time of her death.
She leaves to mourn her departure a sister, Miss Lillie Gunnerson of Yates Center, a brother, Reuben Gunnerson of this city, and many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Bethany Home and the Bethany Lutheran Church. The Danielson Funeral Home was in charge. Dr. Alfred Bergin officiated at the services, being assisted by Rev. Eben Alstatt, McPherson, Rev. Samuel Johnson, Assaria, Rev. N. E. Olson, Lindsborg Messiah, Rev. O.L. Larson, Freemount. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Arvid Wallin, Mrs. Chas. Weddle, Clifford Hawkinson and Wayne Robinson, which sang at the church and at the grave. Miss Edith Johnson sang two solos at the Bethany Home. Interment was at Elmwood cemetery.

A. Hawkinson, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Lundquist and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ahistedt and family, all of Fremont, and Miss Ruth Augustine of Marquette.
