Dolores Marie McDowell
ERIE, Colo. -- Dolores Marie McDowell, 68, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 1994, at Erie.
Mrs. McDowell was born Dolores Marie Neel on Jan. 3, 1926, at Salina, Kan., and was a resident of Erie since 1989, moving from Salina. She and her husband operated the McDowell Craft Shop in Salina for more than 10 years and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Longmont, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxilliary, Women's Ministries International, Arnold Chairi[sic] Network and the American Syringomyelia Alliance Project.
Her husband, Philbert Elmo, died in 1984, and an infant son, Richard E., also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda McCully of Erie; two sisters, Frances A. Burch of Salina and Phyllis J. Smith of Beaverton, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina, the Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
