Honored on 50th Anniversary
A family dinner Tuesday evening honored Mr. and Mrs. Philip O. Moreen, 316 Sunset, on their 50th wedding anniversary.
The dinner was at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Robert Beggs and Mr. Beggs, 321 W. Beloit.
Mr. and Mrs. Moreen were married Dec. 8 1909, at the home of the bride's parents near Hedville.
Mr. Moreen farmed near Hedville until moving to Salina several years ago.
The couple has six living children, Mrs. Vaughn Maneval, Jasper, Mo.; Howard Moreen, West Hartford, Conn,; Mrs. Herb Lengel, Bremerton, Wash,; Thomas Moreen, Delmar, N.Y.; Mrs. Harlan Larsen, Dickinson, N.D.; and Mrs. Beggs. There are 19 grandchildren.
