Mrs. Jennie Langel
Mrs. Jennie Langel, 93, widow of Charles Langel, died in St. Anthony's hospital about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18. She had made her home in the hospital for nearly three years.
She had been afflicted with a asthma for some time but had been in comparative good health up until last weekend. At that time the asthmatic condition grew more pronounced requiring the use of an oxygen tent.
Mrs. Langel was born August 27, 1864 in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of George A. and Sarah (Taylor) Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles on October 8, 1925.
She leaves five sons, Gus of Kirkersville, George and Paul of Columbus, Frank of Sharpsburg, O. and Everett of Salina, Kansas; one daughter, Mrs. Wm. (Louanna) Patten, Dexter City, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Watkins and Mrs. C. E. Wilson, both of Columbus; one brother, Wm. T. Green, rural Pataskala; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, in charge of Morrow-Thurston Funeral Home, Pataskala, were incomplete at press time Wednesday noon.
